The Kansas Sporting Clays Association, Inc.,
is a nonprofit organization consisting of persons engaged in the education
and promotion of clay target sports, safety and activities
associated with the "sporting clays" and "F.I.T.A.S.C." target shooting
sports in the
State of Kansas.
|
The KSSCA is an organization dedicated
to the promotion and encouragement of
organized sporting clays shooting among the residents of the state of
Kansas, increasing shooter's knowledge of the safe handling and proper care
of firearms through education, and improving the target shooting skills and
marksmanship of individuals engaged in shotgun sports. |
The KSSCA endeavors to promote the honesty, fellowship,
self-discipline, team play and self-reliance, and sportsmanship among all
participants.
Detailed information concerning the Constitution and By-Laws of the Kansas
Sporting Clays Association is provided below.
The Board of Directors of the KSSCA consists of the member elected
President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Publicity Director, one
member or "Club Director" representing each club in good standing with
the KSSCA and State Delegates appointed by the NSCA.
The officers, range owners and delegates comprising the KSSCA
work without salary and provide
significant effort toward supporting a healthy environment and an
organization designed to grow the "sport", while providing a "unified voice"

KSSCA officers endeavor to conduct KSSCA
business in the best
interests of its members, to provide meaningful support to KSSCA
affiliated range-owners and assistance in helping them provide shooters
a quality, enjoyable shoot-experience. To help defray the administration cost of
the association, each individual member is assessed a fee of $2.00 per 100
targets for all registered events they shoot. These administration
fees are used to support and fund the activities of the KSSCA and support
its membership. Such fees, for example, provide for the creation and
maintenance of this website.
Personal involvement in the KSSCA is a
fun and rewarding experience; a great way to meet people, to make
new friends, to support commerce, and to volunteer your time for community service!
