The KSSCA annual meeting was called to order by Vice President Dennis Horner.  Roll call was answered by Vice President Horner, Secretary Joy Nelson, and Website Administrator Eileene Duryee. President Ed McNally and Treasurer Jake Neely were not present.

Vice President Horner stated the minutes of the 2009 annual meeting would not be read unless he heard a motion to do so.  There was no motion.  Treasurer’s report was given by the Secretary.  The Beginning Balance as of 12/31/2009 was $18,309.56.  Revenue of $11,216.80, expenses of $17,671.45 with ending Balance of $11,854.91 as of 6/24/2010.

Virgil Morris moved to accept the Treasurers report and Bernie Trumpeter seconded, motion carried.

There was no old business.

New Business:  Vice President Horner mentioned that there were three officers that should have gone off the board this year, but there wasn’t a nominating committee so there weren’t any named for the positions of Vice President, Website Administrator, and Publicity Director.  The office of Publicity Director is presently vacant.  Toby Henson moved to keep the present officers for another term.  Ollie Dickson seconded.  Motion carried.  Vice President Dennis Horner and Website Administrator Eileene Duryee were elected for another term.

It was discussed that there needed to be some changes in the number of trophies that were required for the State shoots each year.  There are trophies that are not being used.  This change requires a change in the by laws therefore it requires a special meeting.  Debra Taylor moved that the officers call a special meeting for the discussion of a possible by law change about the trophies.  Virgil Morris seconded.  Motion carried and Vice President Horner said he would talk to the officers about this meeting and we will notify the membership when the meeting is set.

We discussed something to get the younger people involved.  This needs to be left up to the Club owners if they want to give discounted prices for the young people.  We discussed ½ price of something like that for the sub juniors and juniors.

We also discussed having a three bird shoot.  That is putting three birds up each station instead of only two. This requires a semi automatic so as to use three shells per station.  It was decided that this was up to the Club owners if they would like to try this sometime.

Joe Prewitt moved to adjourn.  Bernie Trumpeter seconded.  Motion carried and meeting adjourned.
