This page is intended to promote sporting-clays league-shooting by assisting range-owners in advertising their "league tournaments" and providing shooters information  concerning league competitions.

Through this website, and other forms of communications, the desire and intent of the KSSCA Officers is to provide timely, up-to-date information concerning ongoing NSCA affiliated league tournaments.

Range-owners wishing to advertise their Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall sporting clays leagues should send pertinent league information to the KSSCA Eileene Duryee via e-mail.

Suggested format for league information is provided below:

KSSCA League Shoots
 

Shady Creek Spring League 2008

2 Person Teams

60 Targets per person per week for 8 weeks.

Lewis Class Purse:  $10 per person (3 places for 10 teams; 5 places for 20 teams)

Handicap will be applied on two randomly picked weeks.

March 22 – May 11

Rules:1.  Team members do not have to shoot together.  Shooter may shoot any day during club hours Saturday or Sunday. Shooter may make-up any day during club hours EXCEPT during event and tournament days.

2.  No practice rounds before shooting the league.  League must be shot first.

3.  No substitutes and no average scores for missed weeks.  Shooters may shoot ahead or back to make-up missed weeks, but only TWO WEEKS TOTAL can be shot on a given week.  If shooter misses more than he can make-up, then shooter forfeits his score for that given week. 

4.  No make-ups after the end of the league.  In cases of inclement weather conditions extensions will be granted by majority consent.

5.  If there is a competitive shoot at the club (i.e. Registered Shoot or Fun Shoot), shooter must shoot the competition first before shooting the league.

6.  Re-entry is allowed on a different team by shooter paying the Lewis class purse again.  Shooter still shoots once a week with the same score going towards both teams.
